LawCraft Attorneys has entered a Memorandum of Understanding with MyHealthNote, a global digital health platform, and will serve as part of the team implementing the platform’s compliance and legal infrastructure in Tanzania.
The role covers three components of the project.
Data protection. LawCraft is working within MyHealthNote’s architecture and workflows to align them with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act and applicable health privacy requirements.
Advance directives. Through the platform’s MyHealthCard module, LawCraft is co-developing the legal framework for Advance Medical Directives, Living Wills, and Healthcare Power of Attorney under Tanzanian law, enabling users to designate medical decision-makers within the platform itself.
Document verification. LawCraft is building the legal verification layer for platform-issued medical documents, applying institutional review to records authenticated through the platform’s cryptographic system.
Richard Valerian, Managing Partner at LawCraft, said: “This isn’t a case of reviewing a product after it’s built. We’re part of building it — so the legal safeguards are in the platform from the start, not added on afterward.”
LawCraft will continue to work alongside MyHealthNote as the technical integration progresses.
